I’m so glad that you’re here and reading this short article because it means that you are ready to let go of the old negative emotions and be your best version of yourself.
I know that it doesn’t feel good to be in a body that is tense, angry, sad, fearful, or upset. However, to have long term relief from the negative emotions it’s important to understand the three reasons why our emotions get out-of-balance in the first place.
1. Habit: Perhaps a parent or caregiver had a habitual way of over-reacting to almost everything. If that’s the case the perhaps you are mimicking their behavior.
2. Overwhelmed nervous system: It could be that you live and work in a stress-filled environment, that overtime has eroded your ability to withstand emotional common emotional stressors.
3. There’s a deeper, underlying issue at work: It’s very likely that if you are habitually overreacting to situations or that you are perpetually feeling angry, frustrated, sad etc…then the situation is triggering something deeper that needs your attention.
